16 Feb Fulfilling Our God-Given Destiny by Pam Hamilton
We are to fulfill our God-given destiny! Ephesians 2:10 says, “For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.” (Not run from them.) God, the Master Craftsman created us to live in Christ as members of His household. We are in God’s family! Since HE created us for good works, there will be several things that are on our life’s schedule! He gave us everything we need on the inside of us. He prepared us for these good works toward others in need.
Our enemy tries to distract us from finishing that work. The devil “encourages” us to quit, to lose hope, to doubt, to give up, and billions of other lies to distract us from those good works. He sends confusion and situations to try and stop us from believing that we are blessed to be a blessing. Resist the distractions! Chase doubts away with the truth of God’s Word!
Our Heavenly Father said He would never leave us as orphans– on our own. He also never said it would be easy! WE are being built together for a dwelling place of God in the Spirit. (Ephesians 2:22) WE are in this together– we stand in faith, we pray for one another, we are the mighty body of Christ, and we are strong in the Lord! Keep it up Mighty Sisters!
A promise to remember: “Happy are those who delight in doing what He commands. Their children will be successful everywhere…their good deeds will never be forgotten.” Psalm 112:1-3
