Victory Christian Fellowship in Somerset, Kentucky, stands as a testament to faithful mission and generational leadership. Founded in 1990 by Pastors Mark and Jeanette Harrell, the church anchored its mission in the triune principle: “Establish You in the Word, Empower You by the Holy Spirit, and Send You into Your Mission.” Over more than three decades, this vision fostered a community committed to spiritual depth, biblical teaching, and outreach.In May 2021, leadership entered a new chapter as Pastor Chris Edwards—who has been part of Victory’s team since 1994—was installed as Lead Pastor. His calling centers on seeing lives “radically transformed by the power of the Holy Spirit,” infusing the congregation with renewed vigor and spiritual momentum.

Alongside Pastor Chris, his wife Chrissy Edwards brings both spiritual vision and practical leadership. Serving Victory since 1999, Chrissy co-leads as Executive Assistant and heads up the THRiVE Women’s Ministry, passionately mentoring women across generational lines to embrace their identity and inheritance in Christ.

Under the Edwards’ leadership, the church continues to embody its foundational mission. They shepherd a vibrant community where Spirit‑filled worship, Scripture‑based teaching, and meaningful connection converge. Whether through Victory Kids, youth ministries, Life Groups, or adult teachings, the church remains a place of growth, transformation, and sending into personal and global mission.
