Church Highlight: Victory Baptist Church – Fallon, Nevada

Fallon is the county seat of Churchill County, which is located 60 miles east of Reno in the Lahontan Valley. It is also one of the towns located on the so-called “Loneliest Highway in America,” the stretch of HWY 50 across most of Nevada that is known for its remoteness. Fallon is surrounded by farms, ranches, and the Lahontan Valley Wetlands. With a population of about 10,000 people, Fallon offers the outdoors, the arts, shops and a menu of special events year around including rodeos, farmers market, and festivals.

On November 15, 2015, Victory Baptist Church began its journey with only 26 members. It began under the leadership of Pastor Steve Miller who was previously a missionary in Mexico for 14 years. In 2019, Pastor Steve returned to the mission field, and in 2021, Pastor Aaron McBride began his ministry as Lead Pastor of Victory Baptist Church. He is married to his wife Renee, and they have four children. They are so eager to see the great things God has planned for their church and their community.

At Victory Baptist Church they have various outreach ministries, each designed to cultivate spiritual growth in people of all stages and walks of life. Pastor Aaron and the VBC congregation are so excited about seeing lives being changed by God in their congregation and in their community.

Join us this week as we pray for our friends at Victory Baptist Church! We are believing that God will continue to move in their church and throughout their community. We are so proud of what they are doing for the Kingdom of Heaven!
