Church Highlight: The Equipping Center – Fountain Inn, SC

The Equipping Center Church, located in Fountain Inn, South Carolina exists to equip the Body of Christ and infiltrate the world systems with the culture of heaven by cultivating an atmosphere for transformation, education and outreach.

The Equipping Center desires to be one church in multiple locations. They are committed to one vision, one set of values, one staff, one central leadership team, one financial oversight and one teaching strategy over multiple campuses expressed in multiple ways. The Equipping Center Church believes church was always intended to be more than just a building where people meet on Sundays but all about Christ followers living out their lives in a community with those around them. They are dedicated to meeting the spiritual and physical need of every member no matter which campus you attend.

Lead Pastor, Dr. Hasker Hudgens Jr. has more than 20 years of education and experience as a lecturer, teacher, consultant, leadership trainer, and mentor, and he is devoted to deliver relevant and compelling, life changing teachings that impact lives now and for generations. His loyalty and understanding of the importance of purpose and activation have enabled him to transform communities through practical assessments of challenges and opportunities, identification of next steps as well as direct strategic development in a timely, relevant and concise way.

All the while, there was a promise from God that he would establish a place where individuals could attain successful living as well. It would be a place where the Body of Christ would discover their purpose, develop in a mature and responsible way, and grow through opportunities to serve in their specific gifts. This ministry would be dedicated to introducing people to embrace a life-changing relationship with Jesus Christ, helping individuals discover, grow and live out their purpose making responsible choices. On February 9, 2014, the promise became a reality and The Equipping Center welcomed the world to embrace Life as a community of believers in the Lord, Jesus Christ, on purpose and with a passion for seeing and living in the promises of God.
