Risen Life Church in Salem, Oregon, is dedicated to glorifying God through the teaching and application of His Word, worship, and equipping believers for service both within the church and in the broader community. The church emphasizes serving the community in various capacities as an expression of practicing the ways of Jesus. Their mission is encapsulated in the statement: “We Love God. We Love People. Together we can change the world.” ​

The vision of Risen Life Church centers on building a community that gathers as Jesus intended—a house of healing and prayer where individuals seek God’s presence, engage in worship, and are inspired to become disciples who make disciples. The church aims to be a close-knit family fully surrendered to representing Jesus in everyday life, led by the Holy Spirit, and demonstrating the power and wonders of Jesus in their gatherings. This includes creating a safe place for healing from life’s traumas and fostering a welcoming environment for all. ​

Lead Pastor, Abraham relocated to Salem, Oregon in 2012 and served under Bishop Wade E. Harris at Seed of Faith Ministries on the pastoral staff, in the music ministry, and in the Youth and Young Adults Ministry. He ministers with passion, having a strong burden for those who are lost, broken, afflicted, and oppressed. Abraham is a published author and holds a PhD in New Testament and Early Church Studies. He is also the president of Rise Life University. He has a deep passion for prayer and teaching the Body of Christ about prayer. Abraham believes Jesus’ words in John 15:5, “…without Me (Jesus) you can do nothing.”
