22 Jan Church Highlight: East Coast Church – Ringwood, NJ
Ringwood, NJ is a beautiful place that is centered around community and has a population of about 13,000 people. It is home to East Coast Church – a vibrant and welcoming community of believers who come together to worship God and serve others.
Pastor Jere Peterson has spent the past 25 years helping pastors, missionaries, ministers, church staffs, and congregations grow in God. He has done this through teaching and preaching staff development sessions and speaking in churches across America and in other nations. His wife, Kim, has also served in ministry as Missions Director, Bible Study Teacher, Speaker, and Co-Pastor at East Coast Church.
In 1982 God gave a vision to Pastor Jere. He accomplished everything God showed him in that vision, except one thing. That one thing was that Jere would someday pastor a church where the glory of God would reside. On October 25th, 2020, Pastor Jere held a Prayer Meeting with a group of people who had decided they were interested in starting a new church in Northern New Jersey. After 120 days of prayer, it was obvious that God wanted this new church to be started and Pastor Jere with his wife Kim, started East Coast Church.
Pastors Jere and his wife Kim deeply love God and love people. It is their intention, as a church, to present Jesus to their community in a way that is easy to understand, and in a way that excites people to desire all Jesus has for them in this life and in the life to come!
