Church Highlight: Cross Point Church – Paola, KS

Paola is a city in the county of Miami County in Kansas. It has a population of about 5,800 people. It is a charming town full of historical significance. Paola is the largest city in Miami County. Paola offers its residents and visitors several choices for shopping, entertainment, and recreation.

Paola, Kansas is also the home of Cross Point Church. Cross Point had its beginning in 1934 as a Four-Square Church. During the early years, the church met in various locations- from rented buildings to tents. Fast forward to 2008, when the church made the decision to transition its name from Paola Assembly of God to Cross Point Church. This transition came because God has allowed the church to be an influence not only in Paola, but also in the local region and around the world.

Pastor Andy Parks is the Lead Pastor at Cross Point. He has 22 years of full-time ministry experience. He and his wife Michelle were lead pastors for 10 years in Kansas City, KS, and then served for 8 years as the Assemblies of God Kansas Ministry Network Executive Assistant to the Superintendent and the Network Outreach Director before moving to Paola. Pastor Andy and Michelle have a desire for reaching people who are not yet followers of Jesus and their community. Their hope is to guide others into a relationship with Jesus through the Father’s presence and discipleship. Their mission at Cross Point is to help people connect with God, develop healthy families, and share the love of Jesus with their communities.

Please join us this week as we pray for our Significant Church family at Cross Point Church! We are believing for favor and wisdom as they continue reaching the lost in their community. Thank you, Cross Point, for all that you’re doing for the kingdom of heaven!
