08 Aug Church Highlight: Cornerstone Worship Center – Vestaburg, MI
The small town of Vestaburg, Minnesota has a population of about 3,000 people and is home to Cornerstone Worship Center Church. Cornerstone was birthed on Sunday, October 1, 2000, in the home of Lead Pastors Don and Ernestine Wolf. Within six weeks, services were moved into their garage and the search for a new building had begun.
In the summer of 2001, they purchased five acres and started building their current campus. Since then, they have added three more buildings to their property and have doubled the size of their sanctuary.
Pastors Don and Ernestine were married in 1999 and have been in the ministry for over 22 years. They love being servants of the Lord and doing His work together. Pastor Don received his Christian education through Global University and School of Bible Theology University and spent time as an evangelist ministering in Mexico, Venezuela, and eight countries in Africa. He also spent three years in the US Army in the Finance Corp and spent fifteen months in Korea.
Pastor Ernestine received her Christian education through Anchor Bay Evangelistic Association (ABEA) Bible School. She was raised in the Vestaburg area and has lived within the area her entire life. Ernestine has also traveled with Pastor Don to Uganda and South Africa to minister the Word of God. Both Don and Ernestine are overseers for several churches in Africa.
Pastors Don and Ernestine, along with their congregation, are passionate about making people feel loved from the moment they walk through the church doors. They want to do all they can to lead people into a life that is pleasing to God.
Please join us this week as we pray for our friends at Cornerstone Worship Center! We are believing that God will continue to guide them and provide for them as they reach the lost in their community!
