Church Highlight: Community Christian Fellowship – Lindale, TX

Community Christian Fellowship (CCF) in Lindale, Texas, traces its roots back to the mid-1970s as a humble Sunday gathering in Garden Valley. In March 1984, it officially incorporated under the name Community Christian Fellowship—with its first property, a 14,000‑sq‑ft building on nine acres bought in May that year. From that modest beginning, CCF has grown steadily, expanding its facilities debt-free in the early 2000s and later adding multiple services and buildings to accommodate its growing congregation.

Today, CCF remains vibrant and mission-driven. The church’s vision centers on three core movements: Reaching Up in worship and relationship with the Father; Reaching In by building godly lives and community on the local campus; and Reaching Out through active mission efforts both locally and globally. Over the years, CCF has nurtured deep international ties, welcoming members connected to ministries like Youth With A Mission, Mercy Ships, and JAMA, reflecting its diverse, global-reaching identity.

Community Christian also embraces its rich lineage of pastoral leadership. Following a series of influential pastors—the church called a new senior pastor in early 2025: Daniel Westbrook. This transition reflects CCF’s care in guiding its leadership through faithful succession.

Pastor Daniel Westbrook is no newcomer to CCF; he served earlier as junior high pastor and was actively involved in youth ministry before returning to lead the congregation. He holds an academic background with degrees in Theology from Christ For the Nations, Communications from Dallas Baptist University, and a Master of Arts in Theology from Campbellsville University. Beyond academics, he has served internationally alongside Youth With A Mission and previously led Rose Heights Church in Lindale until stepping into the senior pastor role at CCF.

Under Pastor Daniel’s leadership, CCF looks forward to continuing its legacy of revival, discipleship, and community outreach. His long-standing roots in the Lindale area, youth ministry experience, and theological training position him well to shepherd a church “with a revival legacy of 40 years and counting,” as he himself has noted. The congregation remains hopeful and expectant for the next chapter of growth and global impact under his pastoral care.
