Church Highlight: Harvest Valley Church – Horace, ND

Harvest Valley Church, located in Horace, North Dakota, is dedicated to building the church in the Red River Valley through Christ-centered teaching, life-giving relationships, and Spirit-empowered mission. The church emphasizes the importance of equipping families to thrive, recognizing the challenges of parenting and offering support to ensure families do not have to navigate their journeys alone. Harvest Valley Church is committed to fostering a community where individuals can encounter Jesus’s transformative love, regardless of their background or story. ​

The vision of Harvest Valley Church is to see the Valley experience the transforming power of the gospel, positioning the church as a place of hope and a catalyst for change. This vision is pursued through a mission that focuses on Christ-centered teaching, nurturing life-giving relationships, and engaging in Spirit-empowered missions. The church is deeply invested in equipping families to thrive, offering dynamic kids’ and youth ministries, as well as life-giving small groups, to ensure every generation can live out their faith with passion and purpose. ​

Lead Pastor Randy Hahne, along with his wife Anne and their four children, felt a calling in 2020 to move back to the Fargo area to plant a church. Despite the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, they laid the foundation for Harvest Valley Church, which officially launched on September 12, 2021, with 400 attendees at the inaugural service. Prior to this, Pastor Randy served at Bethel Assembly of God in Carrington and Northview Church in Fargo. He also holds the position of Assistant Superintendent of the North Dakota Assemblies of God Ministry Network.  Pastor Randy has earned a Master of Arts in Missional Leadership from Trinity Bible College and Graduate School. ​

Under Pastor Randy’s leadership, Harvest Valley Church has grown into a vibrant community that emphasizes authentic relationships, spiritual growth, and empowerment to impact the world for Christ. The church offers various ministries catering to different age groups, including dynamic kids’ and youth ministries, life-giving small groups, and unique groups designed to foster authentic relationships and spiritual growth. This holistic approach ensures that every generation is equipped to live out their faith with passion and purpose.
