LifePlace Church, located in Merced, California has a population of 86,000 people and is known as the “Gateway to Yosemite.’ It is less than 2 hours to Yosemite National Park. LifePlace Church exists to see people in Central California transformed into loving, joyful, Spirit-filled followers of Jesus.
Lead Pastors Robert and Dana Allen have a heart for the city of Merced and a passion for God. This anointed couple intends to make God known in the Central Valley of California. Their down-to-earth personalities and Pastor Robert’s relevant messages make attending LifePlace Church a joy.
Robert and Dana were elected as Youth Pastors of LifePlace Church in 1986 and served for 6 years in that capacity after which they became Associate Pastors for the church in June of 1992. They served in this role for 2 years and were voted in as Senior Pastors in November of 1994 and have served as such for these past 28 years. Pastor Robert has a heart to evangelize to the city and to be involved in interdenominational church unity in pursuit of revival in Central California. He envisions LifePlace Church as a church of irresistible influence and sees it becoming a trailblazing and trendsetting church in its community.
