Church Highlight: Arbor Road Church – Long Beach, CA

Arbor Road Church, located in Long Beach, California was founded in 1947. They are committed to knowing God and making Him known in their local community and across the globe.

Arbor Road Church achieves their mission by staying committed to the 4 G’s: Gather, Grow, Give, Go. “Gather – Gathering regularly for worship and learning from God’s Word. Grow – Growing through cultivating my relationship with Christ and others. Give – Giving sacrificially of your time, talents, and resources. Go – Going into the community and world as an ambassador of Christ.”

Because of their legacy in their community, their church body is multi-generational. You’ll find a place for babies all the way up to senior adults, and they love the wealth of community that brings to their buildings. It took many hands to build their community into what it has become today.

In 2008, Brent Eldridge became the Lead Pastor of Arbor Road Church after serving as a youth pastor for 15 years. His personal passions include strategic thinking, teaching, encouraging others, connecting people, and sharing his faith in the context of meaningful relationships. Brent earned degrees from The Master’s College (BA Bible Exposition), Trinity Seminary (Master of Sacred Literature), John Brown University (Master of Science: Leadership) and is currently a doctoral candidate at Liberty University (Doctor of Ministry: Pastoral Counseling).

Away from his role at Arbor Road Church, Brent has served as a Major League Soccer Chaplain since 2012, primarily with the LA Galaxy. He has been married to his wife Kristin since 1996, and together they have three adult children (Jake, Cooper, and Jillian).
