Church Highlight: Trinity Family Church – Talty, Texas

Trinity Family Church was founded in February 1990 in a small town, Talty, Texas. Talty has a population of about 1,500 people. Trinity Family started with 5 people in the first official church worship. With that small group of visionaries, they started their meetings in the upstairs room of a print shop. After they reached max capacity in that room they moved into a storefront property. Shortly after that, they outgrew that building location, and they were blessed to move into a larger storefront property. In the year 2000, God blessed them with the property they now assemble in. And in 2009 the Lord blessed them again and allowed them to be able to expand their classrooms another 2400 sq ft.

Lead Pastors, Marty and Melia Reid have a burning desire to stamp out biblical illiteracy in their culture and want to see the people of God grow into spiritual maturity, and to do great exploits for God in the culture in which they live.

Pastor Marty became an elder in the church in 1992. In 1994 he and his wife became the Youth Pastors where they faithfully served for 5 years and then became the Associate Pastors. In 2005 Pastor Marty took on the role of Lead Pastor of Trinity Family Church. He is a graduate of CFNI from the School of Pastoral and him and his wife Melia are founding members of Trinity Family Church back since 1990. They love people and desire for them to know and love God and to make Him known.
