Church Highlight: More Life Church

We love celebrating our SCN family!

Take a look at the powerful impact More Life Church in Newark, OH, is having on its community! Pastor Josh Pennington and his congregation are reaching out to families in need in a BIG way through their partnership with the Food Pantry Network of Licking County during their annual Operation Feed campaign.

Licking County has 19.3% of the population for whom *poverty status is determined, a number that is higher than the national average of 13.1%. There are over 500 non profit organizations located in the county.

The Food Pantry Network works daily to acquire, store and distribute nutritious food to the financially deprived and otherwise needy throughout Licking County. They do this through the operations of more than 32 partner food pantries, soup kitchens, emergency shelters, youth camps and after-school programs run by over 300 volunteers. In this partnership MLC will help thousands of families from experiencing hunger. More Life Church has become a hub for locals to drop of supplies and make donations to meet these very present needs.
