Church Highlight: Victory Christian Fellowship

Victory Christian Fellowship has a wonderful monthly feeding ministry called God’s Abundant Storehouse. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we had to convert our processes over to pick-up and delivery because no one could enter the facility. At present, this ministry is  feeding approximately 250 people. While communicating with meal recipients, our volunteers ask if patrons have any prayer needs. Then we pray for them. Our goal is not only meet physical needs in our community, but spiritual as well!

We are so proud of our faithful volunteers who prepare the food, pack the meals, include scriptures and encouraging messages, and pray over the meals. Then they sort the meals by number, location, and different health concerns. Meals scheduled for pick up are placed on a table under a breezeway for easy access to vehicles. Meals for delivery are dropped off at the door.

One day, a delivery mistakenly went to the wrong house. The family who received the meals was without money or food. They were so grateful for the blessing of food! They are now on our delivery list. Do you know, that was no mistake at all! The family who was to have received the meals got theirs as well and now looks for others who are in need. Praise God for divine connections and opportunities to serve more families throughout our community!
